This horse reminds me that it’s ok to take time out for yourself once in a while. Enjoy the food.
This is how I used to teach a couple of students how to create vehicles or weird creatures when they had trouble coming up with ideas
MELODY’S FASHIONS. Occasionally featured in the comic, these pages showed off Dan DeCarlo’s pretty drawing style and sense of fashion drawing (readers often suggested the designs).
Dan DeCarlo’s wife Josie had been a model, and I think I detect her hand in all those smart, appealing outfits throughout the comic (and of course the Pussycats costumes originated with her). She was quite involved with her husband’s work actually, sitting by his side during signing sessions (doing the talking mostly) and promoting his art after his death. No chance she’ll be inducted in the Comic Book Hall of Fame, but sometimes, some of the most vital work is done behind the scenes.
